This program is designed to reduce the slope of the current learning curve that is associated with CartoSound™. The learning objective of the program is to provide a introductory to moderate understanding of Ultrasound as used in the EP Setting. This one day course is to train the Electrophysiology Physician or Fellow the basics of intracardiac ultrasound imaging, the procedure of obtaining transseptal access as well as mapping concepts using the CartoSound® Image Integration Software Module and Carto® 3 System Technology.

Upon completion of this activity, the physician should be able to:

• Have a basic understanding of intracardiac ultrasound while differentiating normal and abnormal intracardiac anatomy
• Manipulate the ICE catheter to achieve all standard views
