The following form is to be used to register for a Biosense Webster, Inc. Training Workshop. Please fill out the information requested below. You may select more than one course. Please verify that all information is accurate before you submit your registration request. Please note that online registration is currently only available for the Advanced Interactive Ablation Workshop, the THERMOCOOL Mastery Program, Transseptal Access for the Management of Arrhythmias, and Biomedical Engineering. To register for the Advanced Navigation Concepts Program, please contact your local Professional Education Specialist.
All registration requests are subject to approval. Biosense Webster, Inc. retains the right to refuse enrollment for a particular course. If you are interested in the Biomedical Engineering Program, please submit the following form and a Biosense Webster, Inc. representative will follow up with further instructions regarding enrollment.

The field of radiofrequency ablation is the first line of therapy for many arrhythmias, and understanding the fundamental biophysical parameters is crucial for the correct application in clinical settings. This 2-day, lecture/demonstration course features a distinguished faculty of researchers and clinicians and an opportunity for hands-on experience with a variety of ablation tools provided by Biosense Webster and Stockert GmbH. All demonstrations and hands-on sessions will be performed in vitro in special simulation baths. Session topics include:

The goal of this intensive, 2-day workshop is to train the support staff who will become your CARTO XP EP Navigation System experts. Participants are trained on the CARTO XP System using state-of-the-art equipment. The course includes in-depth clinical software training, theoretical lectures, and practice in the animate laboratory.

Pre-requisites:
On-site training with a Biosense Webster, Inc. Professional Education Specialist
Passing score on an entrance exam covering the fundamentals of connectivity and Electroanatomical mapping with the CARTO XP System learned through an online modular training program
It is also recommended that participants perform a minimum of 5-7 CARTO XP System procedures prior to registration

The objective of this 2 day course is to train the Electrophysiology Fellow or practicing EP Physician in the procedure of obtaining transseptal access as well as clinical applications of standard and irrigated ablation catheters. The course curriculum includes didactic sessions discussing the anatomically guided approach to transseptal access as well as an intra-cardiac echocardiography guided approach utilizing the ACuNAv™ Catheter.

The objective of this day and a half course is to train the Electrophysiology Fellow or practiving EP Physician in the procedure of obtaining transseptal access. The Course curriculum involves didactic sessions discussing the anatomically guided approach to transseptal access as well as an intracardiac echocardiolography guided approach utilizing the ACUNAV™ Catheter. Key topics also include procedural complications including pericardial tamponade.
Simulation training through the use of a Transseptal Simulator and a live animate lab is featured to assis the physician in gaining competency in the procedure of transseptal access to the left atrium.

The course curriculum involves didactic sessions discussing the anatomically guided approach to transseptal access as well as an intra-cardiac echocardiography guided approach utilizing the AcuNAv™ Catheter. The curriculum also includes case demonstrations using the CARTOSOUND™ Image Integration Software Module. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in hands-on exercises to increase proficiency in building maps using the CARTOSOUND™ Module and to explore approaches to obtaining Transseptal Access. Simulation training through the use of a Transseptal Simulator and a live animate lab is featured to assist the physician in gaining competency in the procedure of transseptal access to the left atrium.

The objective of this program is to provide you with a basic level of technical training to prepare your biomedical staff to perform basic service & repairs on the Carto® XP EP Navigation System installed at your designated facilities. The Biosense Webster Biomedical Engineering Program is a 3-day course focusing on the hardware and software components of the Carto® XP XP EP Navigation System, and Stockert 70 RF Generator.

Comprehensive technical and clinical understanding is the key success factor for rapidly mastering the Carto® XP EP Navigation System. The 3D Navigation Concepts for EP Fellows Workshop is focused on increasing the understanding of mapping fundamentals in order to quickly gain the knowledge and confidence to use the Carto® XP System.
This workshop is designed for first year EP Fellows. Admittance into the program requires completion of an on-line modular training program, which covers the fundamentals of connectivity and electroanatomical mapping with the Carto® XP System.
While at the Institute, participants are trained on the Carto® XP System using state-of-the- art equipment. This intensive and diverse two-day program includes in-depth clinical software training, theoretical lectures, and practice in the animate laboratory. Topics include Advanced Software Features, 3D Mapping Concepts, 3D Map Interpretation, Cardiac Anatomy, and Image Integration using the CartoMerge® Software Module.

This program is designed to reduce the slope of the current learning curve that is associated with CartoSound™. The learning objective of the program is to provide a introductory to moderate understanding of Ultrasound as used in the EP Setting. Curriculum for the course will include Basic Ultrasound, Introduction to the AcuNav™ Technology, Introduction to Intracardiac Imaging, Workflow for the Identification of Cardiac Anatomy utilizing Ultrasound, Hands-on Animate Ultrasound Workshop, and an Introduction to CartoSound™.
We will be targeting two groups of physicians for this program. Proper targeting will support the success of this program. Course participants must have purchased CartoSound™, and meet the following requirements:
- EP Physicians that have completed basic Carto® XP Training and have limited ultrasound experience, i.e. utilization for transseptal procedures.
- EP Physicians that have completed basic Carto® XP Training and have NO ultrasound experience.
