A complete training experience including technical and clinical understanding is the key success factor for rapidly mastering the Carto® 3 EP Navigation System.

• Provide in-depth understanding of the Carto® 3 System technology
• How to apply the system mapping concepts (example: REF Channel, Window of Interest, annotations, Gated vs. Stable mode etc.) to the mapped arrhythmia

The objective of this two day course is to train the Electrophysiology Fellow or practicing EP Physician on the use of the Carto® XP System, as well as the mapping concepts behind the CartoMerge® Module and the CartoSound™ Image Integration Software Modules. The course curriculum involves didactic sessions discussing 3D Electro-anatomical Mapping via the use of the Carto® XP System, and includes hands on software exercise to encourage learning.

This course curriculum also includes hands on experience in an animate lab featuring the CartoSound™ Image Integration Software Module. This provides the student the opportunity to increase proficiency in building maps, and make use of the latest in 3D Mapping and Imaging technology.

The objective of this program is to provide you with a basic level of technical training to prepare your biomedical staff to perform basic service & repairs on the Carto® XP EP Navigation System installed at your designated facilities. The Biosense Webster Biomedical Engineering Program is a 3-day course focusing on the hardware and software components of the Carto® XP XP EP Navigation System, and Stockert 70 RF Generator.

Comprehensive technical and clinical understanding is the key success factor for rapidly mastering the Carto® XP EP Navigation System. The 3D Navigation Concepts for EP Fellows Workshop is focused on increasing the understanding of mapping fundamentals in order to quickly gain the knowledge and confidence to use the Carto® XP System.

This workshop is designed for first year EP Fellows. Admittance into the program requires completion of an on-line modular training program, which covers the fundamentals of connectivity and electroanatomical mapping with the Carto® XP System.

This program is designed to reduce the slope of the current learning curve that is associated with CartoSound™. The learning objective of the program is to provide a introductory to moderate understanding of Ultrasound as used in the EP Setting. Curriculum for the course will include Basic Ultrasound, Introduction to the AcuNav™ Technology, Introduction to Intracardiac Imaging, Workflow for the Identification of Cardiac Anatomy utilizing Ultrasound, Hands-on Animate Ultrasound Workshop, and an Introduction to CartoSound™.

We will be targeting two groups of physicians for this program. Proper targeting will support the success of this program. Course participants must have purchased CartoSound™, and meet the following requirements:

The objective of this one and a half day course is to train the Electrophysiology Fellow or practicing EP Physician the basics of intracardiac ultrasound imaging, the procedure of obtaining transseptal access, as well as mapping concepts using the CARTOSOUND™ Image Integration Software Module. The course curriculum involves didactic sessions discussing the anatomically guided approach to transseptal access as well as an intra-cardiac echocardiography guided approach utilizing the ACUNAV™ Catheter. A Complete Training Experience Comprehensive technical and clinical understanding is the key success factor for rapidly mastering the Carto® XP EP Navigation System. An important component in accomplishing this goal is the selection of support staff that will operate the system independently. These individuals will participate in an educational experience that is both professionally and personally rewarding. The objective of this one and a half day course is to train the Electrophysiology Fellow or practicing EP Physician the basics of intracardiac ultrasound imaging, the procedure of obtaining transseptal access, as well as mapping concepts using the CARTOSOUND™ Image Integration Software Module. The course curriculum involves didactic sessions discussing the anatomically guided approach to transseptal access as well as an intra-cardiac echocardiography guided approach utilizing the ACUNAV™ Catheter. The curriculum also includes case demonstrations using the CARTOSOUND™ Image Integration Software Module. Students will be given the opportunity to participate in hands-on exercises to become more proficient building maps using the latest 3D mapping and imaging technology. Simulation training through the use of a Transseptal Simulator and a live animate lab is featured to explore approaches to obtain transseptal access and to enhance the physician¿s skills during the transseptal procedure.

Upon completion of this activity, the physician should be able to:
