A complete training experience including technical and clinical understanding is the key success factor for rapidly mastering the Carto® 3 EP Navigation System.

• Provide in-depth understanding of the Carto® 3 System technology
• How to apply the system mapping concepts (example: REF Channel, Window of Interest, annotations, Gated vs. Stable mode etc.) to the mapped arrhythmia
• Carto® 3 System Mapping strategy and map interpretation Navigating catheters in a beating heart using a non-fluroscopic mapping approach

The CARTO® 3 System Advanced Navigation Concepts Program ensures a complete understanding of the system fundamentals and advance features in order to quickly gain the knowledge and confidence to become a true Electroanatomical Navigator!

The objective of this two day course is to train the Electrophysiology Fellow or practicing EP Physician on the use of the Carto® XP System, as well as the mapping concepts behind the CartoMerge® Module and the CartoSound™ Image Integration Software Modules. The course curriculum involves didactic sessions discussing 3D Electro-anatomical Mapping via the use of the Carto® XP System, and includes hands on software exercise to encourage learning.

This course curriculum also includes hands on experience in an animate lab featuring the CartoSound™ Image Integration Software Module. This provides the student the opportunity to increase proficiency in building maps, and make use of the latest in 3D Mapping and Imaging technology.

This one-day course is designed to train the practicing EP physician the basics of intracardiac ultrasound imaging with a session on catheter manipulation to achieve all standard views. The new cutting-edge Carto® 3 System Technology will be demonstrated during live case observation along with mapping techniques utilizing the CartoSound™ Image Integration Software Module and the SoundStar® Catheter. There will be a pre and post procedural protocols discussion on best practices for AFib procedures. Procedural tips and tricks will be provided by our faculty with a focus on workflow and lab efficiency.

Comprehensive technical and clinical understanding is the key success factor for rapidly mastering the Carto® XP EP Navigation System. The 3D Navigation Concepts for EP Fellows Workshop is focused on increasing the understanding of mapping fundamentals in order to quickly gain the knowledge and confidence to use the Carto® XP System.

This workshop is designed for first year EP Fellows. Admittance into the program requires completion of an on-line modular training program, which covers the fundamentals of connectivity and electroanatomical mapping with the Carto® XP System.

While at the Institute, participants are trained on the Carto® XP System using state-of-the- art equipment. This intensive and diverse two-day program includes in-depth clinical software training, theoretical lectures, and practice in the animate laboratory. Topics include Advanced Software Features, 3D Mapping Concepts, 3D Map Interpretation, Cardiac Anatomy, and Image Integration using the CartoMerge® Software Module.

This program is designed to reduce the slope of the current learning curve that is associated with CartoSound™. The learning objective of the program is to provide a introductory to moderate understanding of Ultrasound as used in the EP Setting. Curriculum for the course will include Basic Ultrasound, Introduction to the AcuNav™ Technology, Introduction to Intracardiac Imaging, Workflow for the Identification of Cardiac Anatomy utilizing Ultrasound, Hands-on Animate Ultrasound Workshop, and an Introduction to CartoSound™.

We will be targeting two groups of physicians for this program. Proper targeting will support the success of this program. Course participants must have purchased CartoSound™, and meet the following requirements:
